Hey
Happy Friday!
On Wednesday, I released a new bundle about Self-Care, Stress, and Sleep. Today, I wanted to talk to you about why I chose to combine these topics and more importantly, how so many individual health concerns and topics are often closely connected. This can help a lot when deciding what to share with your audience, and how to approach certain
topics.
Why I Think the Connection is Important
When I first started my PLR store, I began writing on individual topics only. One product was about keto, one product was about essential oils, one product was about stress. I even got more specific than that with mindfulness for productivity and keto for PCOS.
There is definitely a lot of value in this, especially if there are specific topics you want to share with our audience.
But the truth is, when it comes to health and wellness, nothing is ever singular. There are so many ways that individual areas of health, medical conditions, treatments, and holistic approaches are connected. I think we all know by now how closely the mind and gut are connected. It definitely doesn't stop there.
Life is complex, and so is health. Which is why sometimes when approaching these topics, it's good to also mention how it might be linked to other areas of a person's health and wellness.
The Connection Between Stress, Sleep, and Self-Care
This new PLR bundle actually started just being about self-care, then I decided to add some content about stress, then sleep. It happened very organically, as most ideas do. We rarely have it all figured out from the very first spark of inspiration.
As a reminder, the new bundle I released this week includes the following:
eBook - 'Natural Remedies for Less Stress and Better Sleep'
Report - 'Self-Care for Everyone'
Email Series - 7 Days of Healthy Habits
Articles - 5 Articles About Stress, Self-Care, and Sleep
Journal Prompts - 100 Journal Prompts
Journal - Canva Workbook-Style Journal
Canva Cover Templates
When I started planning the new release for this week, I knew I wanted to write about self-care again, because the "trend" (even though it's not a trend at all) of self-care is constantly evolving and changing. I wanted to update what self-care is and how it can benefit people.
Through brainstorming that, I kept discovering how much self-care helps with stress. So I then decided to add the topic of stress to the content. Naturally, sleep issues eventually came up not just from things causing stress, but how self-care can also help improve your sleep, because it reduces your stress.
See what I mean?
Stress can negatively affect your sleep.
Lack of sleep can make your stress worse.
Self-care can help reduce stress.
Self-care can help identify stress triggers.
Self-care can improve your sleep.
Better sleep can give you the energy for more self-care.
Less stress can make you want to focus on self-care.
And the cycle continues.
This is one of the reasons I still love the health and wellness space so much. It is constantly evolving and changing, and while sometimes it can feel confusing and unnecessarily complicated, it can also help guide you in the right direction. It often helps you discover what is going wrong in your body and mind, and how it all might be connected.
When choosing topics for your blog or email list, I think it's great to focus on specific areas of health, but also the ways in which they might be connected. In this case, it is the link between self-care, stress, and sleep.
P.S. Don't forget this new bundle is $20 off until the end of Sunday, then it goes back up to $37. You can get it here for just $17.
